Is it alright to post work that may not be in agreement with all of the rules of the Terms of Service as long as it is part of a larger whole?


This is OK in certain circumstances.

If you have, for example, one page of a 10-page comic or an addendum for a story that contains a woman as a prominent character, it's nearly always fine. Panels or pages that consist solely of landscapes, animals, or gender unspecific body parts (such as hands, eyes, etc), are also allowed so long as the overall focus of your sequential work is on a male character(s).


Be nice if they read their own FAQ, wouldn't it?

But they also say somewhere that it's not the ratio of men to women, it's the focus of the picture that matters, but I've seen them reject pictures because "there were as many women as men."

This one apparently had "wrinkling or crumpling of the paper" - I had to stare at it really hard to figure out what they were talking about.
