Flowering ash, Fraxinus ornus, bears bisexual flowers, each containing male and female reproductive organs.&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm used to seeing the term &lt;i&gt;hermaphroditic&lt;/i&gt; for things like this, but the thought of bisexual trees really amuses me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Though our ash tree is not queer.
