Prop 8 ruled unconstitutional

I know that's not the end of it by a long shot, but damn it's nice to see a step in the right direction!

I saw the notification in my inbox just now. Very, very pleased.

Definitely a step in the right direction. They'll appeal, of course, but hopefully, all will end well.

glad to see that it is getting into the right track.
A fortnight ago Argentina, my homeland, approved same sex marriage with equal rights to the civil partnerships and we have had three gay marriages up to now, one of them of a couple of 35 years together.

countries need to leave the Middle Ages behind!

yeah I have my doubts that the ruling will stick just yet, but it is nice to see that we are still fighting for freedom of choice.
