(no subject)

I can sit square to my computer. What a concept.

This is possible because my giant monster of a loft bed is out of my room and instorage, a process which was spread out over a week or so, and had my mattress on the floor for three nights. But now I have a brand new bedframe from Ikea, and a new dresser, which I have just today put together and have yet to put clothes in. I will also have little wall cabinets, but I haven't put those up yet. The contents of my room is still spread out over my room, my mom's room, and the spare room. It will be a while yet before it all gets put back together in any logical way, because I don't want to just throw it all back into my room and not know where everything is. I have work for the next four days, so anything major is going to have to wait until next week.

Yeah, I know well the feeling of letting things sit until you can do them right. Let me know if you need help in some that I can be helpful. ;)

At the moment I think it's stuff I have to just sit down and figure out, but thanks :). Hopefully now my room will start to make sense.

Let me know when you're tackling the ugly wall-paper. I wouldn't mind attacking that. ;)

I really like the furniture I got. I put my current knitting project in two of the baskets in the table; how handy is that? I'm thinking at some point I should go back and get more baskets, and also maybe that Leksvik "shoe table" and a hook for coats, both of which could go by the door, since both [livejournal.com profile] booey and end up dumping coats and bags and shoes by the door anyway.
