The tsunamis are hitting us here in CA; I can only imagine how much worse they are in Japan. As if the earthquake itself wasn't bad enough.

My heart goes out to those effected by this.

I'm far enough inland, thankfully, but I've been keeping an eye on friends along the coast. So far so good, I think because we had enough warning. But it really brings home how very bad it must've been in Japan, if the waves are this high way over here!
