the joys of pants

It amuses me that my mom now experiences what I've always gone through when shopping, how in the entire display of jeans or slacks there's maybe 3 size 6, and 2 of those are 6-short. This does mean we're having a harder time telling our clothes apart, though.

Not terribly tall, we're both around 5'6", but it's tall enough to make the "short" cut high-water.

It is weird! For my whole adult life we've told our clothes apart by size. Now we're down to brand and "are these yours or mine? I think mine are the lighter ones..."
