Of mice and sketches.

I just spent $100 on a mouse. Having bad wrists is expensive. I haven't tried it out yet, though, because it's still charging.

I can finally draw some without too much trouble. So I'm trying to retrain myself by doing some sketching (do not squeeze the pencil; do not grind the pencil into the paper; do not hunch over the sketchbook; do not tense shoulders; etc.). It's not easy. I wasn't expecting to produce anything decent, but this sketch of Ed actually turned out pretty cute. Yayyyy, I haven't forgotten how to draw.

I didn't know you'd taken a drawing haitus! I'm glad you haven't lost your touch...

Also, I think that the FMA style may be a good one for you - I don't know, looking at Ed, somehow I feel like you're more comfortable with this one than say, the Inuyasha style? But that could just be me...

Eeeee AX is so soon *_________* *is so stoked*

I haven't seriously drawn anything since April, and I was going a little stir-crazy. My wrists couldn't take it though. But it's getting better now.

Yeah, I don't think Takahashi's style gets along with me, for one thing (or I don't get along with it). I'm having a much easier time drawing Ed than I do drawing the Inuyasha or Ranma characters. I couldn't say what the difference is, either.
