pictureness!

I don't think I'm done with this, but I thought I'd post it anyway, just 'cause. Partly because I've been working on it for weeks. It's from a scene in Part 10, which nobody will have read, because it hasn't left my computer yet. Anyway, it's nighttime - early early morning, actually - outside, and near a streetlamp.

It was nice doing a graphite drawing again. I mean, I love computer art, and pastels, and paints, and ink, and - just about every meduim, really - but graphite's my first love. There's just something about it.

Edit for typos... 9_9

LJ won't let me see it, but I assume that it's nice.

Ok, noooow that I've posted that it lets me see it. Very, very nice.

I think LJ gets possessed sometimes. ^_^

It does!

What paper are you using? It has a nice texture.

It really does, I love the texture of it. It's an Academie sketch pad, from Mead. Someone gave it to me way back in highschool. (It lists "ink" as one of the ideal art techniques, but they lie. It's terrible for ink. Great for pencil and charcoal, though.)

I'll have to check it out. It gives the pencilwork a really nice feel. I will not try ink on it. ;)
