Dental fun!

Just got back from the dentist, and the left side of my face is numb and I've got that icky Novocain/post dentist taste in my mouth :P. And a shiny new temporary crown. Can't eat anything hard or sticky until I get the permanent one.

When I was getting the injection, I had pain shoot up my cheek at one point, and the dentist said my cheek went white. Apparently it's not unheard of, but I've had a lot of fillings, but I've never had that happen before. The dentist said my cheek might bruise. He doesn't think it will, but it sometimes happens. Basically I'd look like someone popped me in the face ^^;.

Oy. Now I'm hungry, but still numb.

Dentist visits suck, I'm still putting mine off ^^; But! If you bruise you can come up with exciting stories about how it happened. Extra points if you can include alligators!

Alligators would certainly be more interesting than the old walked-into-a-door excuse ^^.

Yeah, unfortunately I'd already put this off for over a year due to insurance. I think the dentist was starting to have visions of the old filling falling out.

Yeah, I'll just say the other person got off much worse XD.

But fortunately it looks like it's not going to get discolored.
