Ew, ew, ew.

I just stepped on a bird carcass. Well, part of one. The part with the beak. GODDAM OUTDOOR CATS!! I know they're predators, I know they hunt, but I don't want to see it, and I certainly don't want to STEP on it XP. (In stocking feet, no less.)

If they must hunt, I really wish they'd do it somewhere other than the front porch (right on the mat, actually).

Of course, they are thinking "Mommie will luvz our gifts! We mades them wif our own pawz!"

I think I'd question the quality of the gift ^^; beak and scull wouldn't make for good eatin'.

On the other hand, they moved the rest of the body - I hope it's not a new bird - onto the step sometime this morning, so maybe they're making up for it.

My cat gave my baby a gift a couple years back. Babies stick things in their mouth. Perhaps the grossest moment of our lives so far. *cringe*

Eeeewwww! Yeah, I can't think of much that would top that XD

That's one reason why I'm glad my parrot and my cat get along. Not that I risk the two alone together. O.O Though Kiki's always been a wierdo. She doesn't act like most cats.

I imagine it helps if the cat's not used to hunting; our outdoor kitty spent time as a stray. She's not one I would trust around any bird, that's for sure - she even took down a crow once!

Yeah my bird's not little that's for sure but I still wouldn't trust her around a cat, regardless of whither they are use to hunting or not. Bad enough she walked right by my old German shepherd who was almost full grown. O.O My cat does mouse hunt but that's it.
