Sep. 22nd, 2003 10:35 amSo we had some excitement at work yesterday. I was cleaning the oven when I heard some shouting, so I turned around. This is basically what I took in:
Checker running - manager running - guy on floor shaking -
O_O!
I started mentally going through what I had learned in my one-day first aid/CPR class, none of which was useful that wasn't already being done, and I even thought of my CPR microshield, but they didn't seem to be worried about the guy's breathing and it was all the way in my locker anyway. So I went back to cleaning the oven, but kept looking over my shoulder.
When I went in the back I told my coworkers that a guy had collapsed out front.
Coworkers: o_o??
Me: Like, seizure-collapsed.
Coworkers: O_O!!
By the time the EMT people arrived the guy was sitting up and talking, so they just checked him over, had him sign something, and then it looked like everyone went on their merry ways. I still don't know what really happened.
