Annual self-indulgence fiiiiic.... this goes back to the beginning of the 'verse that Permission is a part of. I'm hoping to explain the rules of the AU within the fic as it goes along, so for now I'll just say that it takes place within the FMA universe but history has played out slighlty differently.
