dragonimp: (fanfic)
Ganked from just about everyone at this point:

Name me a character in one of my fandom (FMA), and I will tell you:
* How I feel about this character
* All the people I ship romantically with this character
* My non-romantic OTP for this character
* My unpopular opinion about this character
* One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon
* Something about them I consider true, though it's just head canon/fanon

Rewrites partly done. I will want to run these through a beta, if anyone's up for it. A good harsh beta, preferably.

And on that note:

"Feedback" means tear into it. You can post anonymous.

And a bit lighter:
Name one of my fics in comments (or a scene from one of them) and I will (try to) tell you what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the characters' heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, lots of awful puns, and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

(The challenge will be to see if I remember.)

o1. Go to Google and type, "You know you're from (your city or state) when...." (hit "I'm feeling lucky")
o2. Cut and paste the list.
o3. Bold the items that apply to you

I put in "California" and it was 80% about SoCal. I put in "Bay Area" and it was 70% about Silicon Valley and the Berkeley/Oakland area. My area doesn't exist in the public consciousness (and neither do the far north or the Central Valley). But here's the Bay Area one:

Your result for The You think you've got a high IQ Test...

You scored 122 Intelligence!'re basically a genius. 132 is the IQ where Mensa accepts you. How about giving it a try? You were the probably the kid who got all A's in high school AHAHAHAHA--no. ..or you could be like me, a brilliant slacker Not that either. ...too smart for your own good. It goes both ways. You are ver gifted. I was the kid who was constantly told "oh, you're so smart," and then felt like a failure because I had nothing to show for it.

Take The You think you've got a high IQ Test at OkCupid

PS: Popular media questions are of the devil. The fact that I've never seen an episode of Sex and the City and don't give a damn about which celebrities are dating which should not lower my IQ score.

It really depends on my mood and the particular test whether I end up as an INFP or an INTP. Both descriptions usually fit.

On the second one, I found my lack of interpersonal intelligence amusing. 10%, wow XD

Yay, I can sit today \o/! I was even able to get a decent amount of writing done. (For the record, I have made another appointment at Kaiser, because this is ridiculous.) Still have to catch up on fics, though.

Anyway, meme! )

Ganked from several people.

1) write your username.
2) write the name of two of your favorite bands/artists.
3) write "i ♥ ______". this is to see how you write hearts.
4) write the name of your all-time favorite person.
5) write the name of a recently favored person.
6) tag six people to do this.

This is how I write when I don't expect other people to read it. That little squiggle at the end of "Fight--" is my shorthand for "ing."

Your Animal is the Owl
You are brilliant, but you keep your insights to yourself. You tend to be a recluse.
Others are captivated and enchanted by you, but you hardly even notice. You have a powerful presence.

You are passionate and strident. After a while your personality can be a bit overwhelming.
You are quite misunderstood. You are more emotional and mystical than people realizes.

Okay, that's kinda eerie o_O

Pick your birth month.
Strike out anything that doesn't apply to you.
Bold or italicize the statements that best apply to you.
Copy to your own journal, with all twelve months under a lj-cut.

NOVEMBER ~ Has a lot of ideas. Difficult to fathom. Thinks forward. Unique [although it tends to be more like "oddball"] and brilliant. Extraordinary ideas. Sharp thinking. Fine and strong clairvoyance. Can become good doctors. Dynamic in personality. Secretive. Inquisitive. Knows how to dig secrets. Always thinking. Less talkative but amiable. Brave and generous. Patient [sometimes]. Stubborn and hard-hearted. If there is a will, there is a way. Determined. Never give up. Hardly becomes angry unless provoked. Loves to be alone. Thinks differently from others. Sharp-minded. Motivates oneself. Does not appreciate praises. [I have a very strange relationship with praise, but I definitely appreciate it] High-spirited. Well-built and tough. Deep love and emotions. Romantic. Uncertain in relationships. Homely. [as in "simple but cosy"] Hardworking. High abilities. Trustworthy. Honest and keeps secrets. Not able to control emotions. Unpredictable.

You Are 57% Feminine, 43% Masculine
You are in touch with both your feminine and masculine sides.

You're sensitive at the right times, but you don't let your emotions overwhelm you.

You're not a eunuch, just the best of both genders.

Apparently my arachnophobia makes me girlish. I am not squeamish about blood! Also, the "You enjoy beauty for its own sake" - I have a minor in art! I've been trained to!! Besides, I doubt my definition of "beauty" is exactly in line with theirs.

Your result for The LONG Scientific Personality Test...

INFP - the Healer

You scored 0% I to E, 21% N to S, 29% F to T, and 53% J to P!

You are more introverted than extroverted. You are more intuitive than observant, you are more feeling based than thinking based, and you prefer to go with the flow rather than having a plan. Your type can best be summarized by the word "Healer", which belongs to the larger group of idealists. You have a capacity for caring that is deeper than most. You strive for unity, are fascinated by the battles between good and evil, and can be something of an idealist. Only 1% of the population shares your type.

As a romantic partner, you are usually supprtive and nuturing, however, you have a high need for individuality. Harmony is extremely important to you as you are very affected by conflict and tension, which also makes you resist confronting your partner directly about problems. When you get angry, you usually blame yourself, rather than your partner. You can also be stubborn and unyielding when you feel you are being criticized or mistreated. You feel the most appreciated when your partner listens to you carefully. You need to be understood. You need to hear your partner express their feelings, the more often, the better.
Your group summary: idealists (NF)

Your type summary: INFP

That's odd - the last time I took one of these I was almost 50/50 between F and T (Some of those questions I wanted to answer either "both" or "neither", I wonder if that had anything to do with it).

Ganked from [ profile] zakai_:

Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most.

you are teal

Your dominant hues are green and blue. You're smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people's conflicts well.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life can be bright or dark, depending on the situation. You are flexible and see things objectively.
the html color quiz

My first result was dark slate grey (I'm sorry; "gray"), and I had to go back and figure out what I had checked to make it say "You don't stress out over things and don't understand people who do". Because - ah. Probably anyone who's been reading this blog will understand why.

The last time I tested the gender of this blog it tested about 50/50, too, so I guess my yin and my yang have stayed in balance ^_^.

Edit: Actually, it looks like I'm slightly more masculine now. What does that say, I wonder?
