Notes: Some chapters are neat little snippets of story, nicely folded and hemmed. This one sprawls, has frayed selvages and poorly tucked hems, bunches into knots in some parts and pulls thin in others, and is just a generally untidy mass of words ::kicks chapter::bruises foot::. I just don't think I'm going to be able to patch it into anything better and am tired of looking at it. AU movie, part of the "Waiting" thread and the "Mother Arc". "‹Angled quotes›" mean the person is speaking Xingian.
