You were saying something about needing a CoS outfit for Ed?

The sleeves turned out too narrow, but otherwise the pattern works well. Needs a lighter weight fabric, though.

Adorable! Did you sew it yourself?

I did, and believe me, it shows ^^;. There's a number of things I'd do differently on a second one. But this was too good an opportunity to play around with the doll sizes in my pattern software.

I did, my pattern drafting software can do Barbie size ^^. Mom's been talking about possibly creating patterns/clothes for ball jointed dolls so I decided to experiment. I'd be happy to remake it in better fabric and with better dimensions, and I could probably get a shirt worked out, too - I'm not sure about pants, since the pants it gave me were clearly Barbie SHAPED, but if you can give me Ed's measurements I can put them in and see what it gives me (this is what the software uses (http://www.cochenille.com/graphics/simple.gif), either inches or centimeters). I just can't guarantee any sort of time frame for finishing ^^;

YES!!! Oh lawd, yes!! And I believe Ed can wear Barbie clothes but if you tell me what you need measured I'll do it! ::leaps for joy::
And give me an estimate for cost--I am beyond thrilled and will get it whenever you are done with it

One other note--the Medicom's use velcro to fasten Ed's shirts from the back--Ed's sleeves are of a slightly generous width to cope with the Automail

Awesome, I think that's most of them! The only other ones that might be important are back-waist length and upper arm and wrist circumference. This pdf - http://www.catjester.com/takeshelter/extras/MeasurementChart.pdf - has the measurement chart on the second page and the how-to (where) for each measurement on the third. (Ignore the first page, I don't think we need the refined fit.)

I haven't yet, I mostly just make stuff for myself (in amongst all my other hobbies), but I would probably consider it if it was something I had experience making. Mostly it just hasn't come up yet.

I'd be interested in a Medicom-sized Ed jacket too! Would you consider doing another?

Sure, there'll be plenty of fabric. I can't guarantee a time frame but I'll post or I can PM when things are done.

Sure - I'll send over a PDF as soon as I can get the pattern altered right ^_^

I haven't worked it out yet, I still have to see what the fabric is going to cost (which I think is going to be negligible) and what shipping is going to be. I also don't know what doll clothes typically cost! I'll let you know when I've figured something out ^^.
