1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!
A few years ago, my wrists got so bad I ended up taking a break of a month or more from all art. Afterwards, I had to retrain myself to draw in ways that didn't kill my joints. I expected to turn out a bunch of crap, but instead, I somehow turned out this. Ed really does look like he's plotting something.
Back when I was first experimenting with markers, and I had, like, two colors ^^;. Inuyasha's attacks of adolescent boy-ness amuse me and he makes such a great irritated icon.
My poor, neglected Silver from my poor, neglected novel ;_;. (I'm back to working on it, sweetie, really, I am, I won't neglect you forever.) Col-erase sketch from ages ago colored in Painter Classic. The metallic hair didn't turn out as well as I'd like, but the expression did, and makes such a handy depressed/sad/bummed icon.
The result of "my new computer comes with a little CAMERA!!" and photoshop ^^;;. I think the filter was something like "note paper"...? I tried so many, don't even remember. I needed a "neutral" icon.
Takahashi's style and mine do not get along, I have a hell of a time making decent Ranma or manga-Inuyasha fanart. This is from one of my (very few) adequate renderings of Ranma. He/she is being so utterly cute that he must be plotting something.
