dragonimp: (irritated)

The tingling has not gone away, it's gotten worse. Gah. So I have an appointment today at 2:30. Not with my primary care doctor, but that's fine; I'm not all that fond of my primary doctor, anyway. (I wonder if this is going to interfere with driving... working the clutch with a tingly/numb foot will be interesting.)

I'm going to have a hell of a time getting any schoolwork done today, though.

In other, unrelated news, I've created an account at Paper Demon. It looks like they accept pretty much everything, and it'll be nice to have an all-inclusive gallery for once. I haven't uploaded anything yet, though. I need to decide how much of my older art I want to put up. (same handle I use everywhere, BTW)

Hmm, that looks like an interesting site. I'll have to check it out in more detail this evening. Be kinda nice to have art and fic all in one place.

Hope you get the tingly, ouchie nerve thingy figured out. That's not cool at all. And mystery ailments suck hard. Good luck!

Someone recommended it to Hikaru when she was having that trouble with devART. It looks like the only thing I wouldn't be able to put up there is photographs. I'm looking forward to having a place to put both my original fiction and my fanfic where I don't have to edit out the swearing ^^.

It looks like the back problem isn't serious, just irritating. So that's good!

I'm glad the back problem doesn't seem like it's going to be an issue. That's great news! :D

I've never run into an issue with swearing in places where I post my fics. Which is probably a good thing, since I have a mouth like a sailor, and so do a LOT of my characters! ;)

I've only really had a problem with Elfwood, but they get anal about a lot of things. It wasn't an issue when I did primarily high fantasy, but then I started this scifi story about a group of street kids.... I always post an "unedited" version on my web site, but that doesn't really allow for comments.

So the back is going to be all right? Are they going to treat it with antiinflamatories or do you get the steroids? I'm on mega-steroids for my lungs right now and the annoying "hacker's elbow" inflamation that's been pestering me for weeks has dramatically improved--that makes it worthwhile.

I'll definitely check out the new site when you've got it up--I'd love to see more of your artwork--when can we see a full portrait of Lady Yuu?? I've gotten so fond of her...I'd love to see a mother and son portrait ::hints very broadly and makes with the big-kawaii eyes::

The doctor thinks it's probably an "irritated" nerve, though I still don't know what caused it - probably a compounded problem of sleeping wrong and straining my back somehow. I can treat it with ibuprofen, thankfully, and hot/cold compresses, though it might take a few days to go away.

"hacker's elbow," that's a term I hadn't heard before ^_^.

New art depends on schoolwork and my wrists ^^;. Though the wrists have been a bit better lately; I just need to discipline myself not to over-stress them. (Both the pencil sketch and my not-exactly-stellar marker coloring of artwork I used for the icon are up in the scrapbook section of [livejournal.com profile] impishclawmarks, I don't have the links at the moment. I actually have been wanting to do one of her and Roy, I'm just not sure how to compose it.)
