This is really beautiful. I can just see it in my head, and, although it HAS been a while since I've seen FMA, Ed and Roy both seem pretty in character.
I don't think I ever really noticed Ed being touch-shy, but now that you mention it, yeah. He always does sort of stay away from people except for Al.
I love the sad, sweet tone of the whole thing, and how for once Ed gets the chance to be a scared kid in need of comfort instead of an adult thrust into dangerous situation after dangerous situation. It's just...bittersweet, almost. Fluffy, but with melancholy overtones.
