dragonimpEveryone posts fic on the weekend I'm away, not fair :P.
Anyway, the weekend was fun, and we had a good time at the faire even though it was hotter - and a whole lot sunnier - than predicted. Some of the highlights:
kianacao and I were finishing up our lunch, and talking about where to go next. I mentioned swinging by a booth I'd seen that had earrings, because "I want to add to my stud collection ... wow, that sounds really bad." Of course we started laughing and riffing on having a "stud collection". At some point, I looked up and realized there was a small group of scotsmen/barbarians nearby who were obviously getting a kick out of our conversation XD. I gave them a big thumbs up as they toasted us with their drinks. Then one held up a skull mug and asked if I wanted "a little head". Gotta love the ren faire.
shawk and I caught sight of this guy wearing nothing but tight leather pants, with obviously nothing on underneath. Poor kid was skinny as a rake without much to show off either back OR front. I was staring at his (mostly nonexistent) backside and thinking "wow ... you'd think tight leather pants would be sexy but that's really not..." Just about then he hiked up said paints with an undignified hip-wiggle. shawk and I glanced at each other and burst out laughing, and fled back into a nearby booth before he could realize.
So anyway, we had fun, even if the weather wasn't cooperating. Now to catch up on LJ...
