CS4, though I still have CS2 as well. it's probably straight forward, I've just never looked into it ^^;

I'm pretty sure CS4 is what I've got. There should be a command that lets you set up a video kind of, and you just make a bunch of layers and select which layers you want to display and for how long. I'll try to go find the exact process I used.

It had something to do with layered gifs if I remember it right (many PS-versions ago 8). The icon really doesn't need it though. ;)

It would be for a different icon. I was thinking it was something with the layers, but Photoshop has a bad habit of changing things between versions.
