Where the hell did this "pingback bot" come from? I guess it's a good way to find out if someone links your post, but I really don't need it to tell me when I pimp my own work to the comms.

(I suppose I should pay attention to LJ's news posts once in a while c_c)

Yeah it's >< A few years ago, a friedn asked for all the Ed/Greed things I could find so I include FMR's greed/ed fics and htey pinged her back HARD cause of it O.o I never saw the post with the ping bot thing but it's been there for a while and it's good or bad XDD

The pings seem to come through as screened comments, so only the journal owner would see them. This is the first time I've gotten any. Which makes no sense, because I always post to the comms the same way. So why did it just start pinging me now? Aaarg, LJ, make sense....

*L* if you hover over a user's icon or mini icon, one of the links in the popup should be "send message". That's sends a PM ^^
