- This one should surprise no one. Supporting each other in dark times, always there to prop the other up.

- I could take or leave the radio version of this song, but this recording really hits me. It speaks of wistful adoration and looking for support, and really seems to fit the boys.

Never Say Never - The Fray

  When all is crumbling
  To steady your hand
- If you ignore the fact that he says "queen" (hee ^_^), this could be Ed, to Roy. Support through uncertainty.

- Passion and obsession - our main theme.

Collide - Howie Day
- even the best fall down sometimes
  even the wrong words seem to rhyme
  out of the dark that fills my mind

- Even when things go wrong - and things will inevitably go wrong, with these two - they still come together, sometimes in spite of themselves.

- Another one that should surprise no one. If their relationship does crumble, this is one way I could easily see it going.

- This seems to be the perfect song for the end of the first series, Ed to Roy.

- This, to me, is the crux of their relationship. Head to head and toe to toe, but always there to prop the other one up.
  - Before anyone says "but I've never heard of Delicious Blue," they were a tiny little indie band I heard play at a friend's uni graduation back in '98, where they were selling a CD that had four of their songs on it. I don't think they exist anymore, which is sad, because I thought they were good.
