I really rather hate this "holiday," it's far too often an excuse for mean-sprited and childish behavior. I'm in a shitty mood anyway, so I'm sorely tempted to fuck off and ignore the rest of humanity until the calendar turns to the 2nd. Too bad life is not that accommodating.

It did, thankfully. I had hours at work for once and that actually helped. I miss my job.
