Fanime brief
May. 30th, 2005 11:21 amMy mom, on the consistancy of daifuku: "It's like a powdered slug."
No really, they're tasty, like a cross between rice candy and taiyaki, but neither of us was ready for how squishy they were.
I spend most of the time at Fanime this year in the panels, which were quite interesting. Yay, history! Yay, animation tech! I also got to paint a "cell" of Edward (FMA Ed) which was fun. I think my wrist even made it out okay, which makes me very happy. My mom painted one of Vash.
We didn't end up buying anything from the dealers room except food this year. Like I said, we spend most of the time watching the panels, and then a fair chunk walking around artist's alley. Odd thing was that compaired to last year the place was empty. And there were a lot fewer cosplayers. I didn't even take pictures, really. And I only got stopped for pictures twice, unlike last year which seemed to be every half hour or so.
