they decided to tag royed as pedophilia - even when ed is above age consent. apparently they are intentionally trying to ignore royed authors and artists or something
Yeah, that's why is surprised me when I got a notice that "your moderated submission has been posted." It didn't used to do that.
And OMG, no, I hadn't seen that! I've been pretty hit and miss on tumblr over the last few days. WTF. I just looked through the blog I can't even find the Roy/Ed post that triggered all this.
Well, they're not going to like my day 5 and 6 offerings, then. I have the urge to stick "ED IS OVER 18 THIS IS NOT PEDOPHILIA" in the caption, but that would be snotty.
It's been pointed out to them that over-tagging triggers is actually the exact opposite of helpful, and they've agreed to at least keep the pedophilia tag for when Ed is ACTUALLY underage. I could split hairs about pedophilia vs ephebophilia, but at this point that would only cause more wank.
It looks like it's a group of teenagers running the blog, so I can give them a little leeway. But I remember being a teenager and dealing with online wank and there's no excuse for the hostility.
Yeah, really. It posted pretty quickly, but it still leaves me wondering a)why, and b)who's doing the moderating. It's not like the comm is all that active now.
