Sorry to hear that. I enjoyed occasionally seeing you in my FB feed. (I don't comment much more on FB than I do anywhere else, though, so I think you got, like, one comment from me.)
I've still got twitter/tumblr cross-posting, and I'm still picking up messages/notifications from FB. But I'm not reading my feed or any of the pages right now. Things too easily become a trigger. And I think I may have stepped over some lines a bit, so better to pull back :/
I don't really ever use Twitter or Tumblr, even though I have accounts there. I think something about the format puts me off. (BTW, if you hadn't mentioned your fic on FB I wouldn't have been inspired to go read LJ or DW, either, so I'm glad you mentioned it. I've fallen into the trap of only checking FB because it's easy to just read a few posts at a time on my phone when I'm bored.)
I do understand about feeling you've stepped over lines and wanting to withdraw, though. :( I've been feeling like I've been fumbling all of my FB interactions recently, myself. I know I'm a bit socially awkward to begin with, but it's been feeling like it's been worse than usual. *sigh* Ugh, yeah.
Well, I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough time. I hope this helps you to feel better.
Tumblr's format leaves a lot to be desired. I use an rss reader for most of my browsing but it's still less than ideal. It's unfortunate that that's where most of fandom is now :/.
I don't care for the fact that Tumblr seems so... public. I don't think you can really lock things down or filter like you can on LJ or FB. The reply system certainly leaves something to be desired, anyway.
(I occasionally remember to check Tumblr anyway, but I only go back five pages, and it only occurs to me about once every three months, so I see almost nothing that gets posted there. I just really don't like it.)
