Ya know I grew up with Sesame Street old school and it amazes me how things were then vs now. I mean we didn't have seat belts in school buses or many cars, no cable or satellite and we had only 3 channels CBS, ABC and NBC and you got up to change those channels!
The sad part is the parents of today should be mostly my age who grew up with this shit and they are the ones complaining while giving their kids, computers, video games, cell phones and who knows whatelse. Back then the simplest stuff was the best that is why I HATE Christmas in the sense of that it is soooo commercialized. I mean it is in your face BEFORE Halloween ... ridiculous. Living in New Orleans area trust me Mardi Gras decorations will be up in about another week or so as it is in early February this year.
