Noise and distractions

dragonimpWe've been having work done on the hall bathroom, and it makes it very hard to get anything done. It would anyway, but the bathroom is right next to my room. But still, I think I could tune out the noise; it's the constant pull on my attention that does me in. I have this really, really annoying need to always know what's going on, so I can't just let someone else deal with it. But even if I wanted to, I keep getting pulled out to consult on things.
Between that, school, work, and getting sick, I've had the same Word doc hopefully open for the last week and a half. I want to write. But the one I want to work on isn't something that I can do in ten or fifteen minute snatches here and there, at least not right now. I've been away from it for too long.
