dragonimpEd and Al do Caramelldansen
I ran across this when looking for examples to help explain the Caramelldansen phenomenon to my mom.
(Then I had the song stuck in my head for the rest of the day.)
Fanime, seemed smaller this year, although we were told the masquerade had record numbers. There were some very interesting panels on storytelling and animation, and the history of anime fandom. I bought $36 worth of Copics (that's 7 markers - buy 6 get 1 free), but not much else; I wasn't really in a spending frame of mind. I intended to watch some of the AMVs, but the one playing when we arrived was this neverending humor one that went on. and. on. and. on. that I got sick of partway though, stayed longer in the hope that it would end soon, and finally got fed-up with and left. I returned later just in time to catch some technical problems. I had the best timing, really. But I did get to see videos 4-1.
I have so much to catch up on online, now.
