Doldrum cynic

There's a very cynical part of me that's been saying "obviously the only thing people really want to see from you is fanfic. Not original stuff. Not art of any kind." And I'm trying really, really hard not to listen to that voice. Because it's not really fair, and because it really shouldn't matter. Except it means I'm not posting art to the communities anymore, because it's not worth the mess it makes of my mood.

I really don't know why I'm in such a crap mood right now.
