dragonimpAll these screenshots of shirtless!Roy and I still can't muster up the motivation to watch the latest episodes of Brotherhood. It doesn't help that his physique is a little frightening - it's like Armstrong's chest was superimposed on Roy's body. I get that it's dramatic lighting and all, but really, it's not appealing. I much prefer the subtlety (in comparison) of the manga. Otherwise it looks like a dramatic scene and it's one of my favorite Roy-moments in the manga, but I can't get past the hyper-Bowflex body.

Date: 2009-08-20 02:23 am (UTC)It's actually really well done. It looks overdone in the screencaps, but you only see his chest like that for 5 seconds. Yeah okay they made him super buff because it's anime - they do that with Ed, too. But it's SOOOOOO GOOD!! Just... watch it!
