Kittens, wah...

There are three kittens out behind the library. They look about 4-months old, right at that adorably awkward stage. One black one, one tortie, and (I think) one calico. They're so timid and hungry for attention and so, so cute, and if I didn't already have 3 cats I'd take them home. ;_;

Smoky

Smoky smoky smoky today, I feel bad for anyone with respiratory problems. Came in about 1:00 - after I had gone to work, of course. Of all the days to have taken my Vespa, at least my car would have had some filtering. I wasn't even supposed to go to work today, I got called in at 9:30.

Several fires around, apparently. But this smoke is from one that isn't even relatively close. But it's big, and in a remote area that's giving the fire crews a mess of trouble. Apparently it's been burning since Monday, but the winds shifted today so that's why we're suddenly getting the smoke.
