If I didn't already have three fics in the works (one betaed in finishing, one in translation and one in its first stages), I'd have volunteered happily. I can't help much with grammar either (being ESL), but I can give you a quick answer to tell you if the fic is going in the direction you have meant it to go. Think about it.
