::hugs:: I'm so sorry, sweetie--right now I'm trying to learn a 30 song setlist before the first weekend of June and scared to death we won't get it done by then--behind in my writing AND reading everybody else's. I write un-beta'ed (pretty obvious, no?) so I don't know how to beta anyone else but it's definitely not because of YOU--please don't EVER think that!::hugsagain::
And I certainly wouldn't want anyone to overtax themselves. I'm just frustrated because this seems to be how it goes for me; the people who use betas seem to have picked them up through osmosis or something because nothing has so far worked for me.
If I didn't already have three fics in the works (one betaed in finishing, one in translation and one in its first stages), I'd have volunteered happily. If you want to you can send it to me for a quick look-through, but I can't really give it the thorough look that I'd really want to. I can't help much with grammar either (being ESL), but I can give you a quick answer to tell you if the fic is going in the direction you have meant it to go. Think about it. I hope you get an offer for more qualified help soon. :)

I wouldn't want to overburden anyone. I'm just frustrated because this seems to be par for the course for me. I'll definitely look into that comm - it looks like it'll be useful when I finally get back into original fiction - but I was hoping I could find someone at least somewhat familiar with things since one of the pieces is an AU.
