I can't help much with grammar either (being ESL), but I can give you a quick answer to tell you if the fic is going in the direction you have meant it to go. Think about it. I wouldn't want to overburden anyone. I'm just frustrated because this seems to be par for the course for me. I'll definitely look into that comm - it looks like it'll be useful when I finally get back into original fiction - but I was hoping I could find someone at least somewhat familiar with things since one of the pieces is an AU.
