Edit: oddly enough, steelandsparks seems to still be up, while everything else is down. Go fig.

Edit the second: Looks like LJ is back up, but not reliably.

It's all hit or miss. I was fine last night til about 3 am or so, then nothing. It's been intermittent going on three days now on my end. So glad I'm PAYING for this. *grumbles*

Thing of it is, I KNOW they'll extend paid user time like they did before. My big problem/concern with this is that LJ was either unwilling or unable to take preventative measures, since these attackers pretty much announced they would be doing this again and again. I'm all for free speech and I'm thankful I have it *and* I'm glad to see Russia exercising theirs to the best of their ability, but... perhaps... maybe... it would be in the best interest of the remaining umpteen million LJ users across the globe if Russia had its own dedicated servers until this is resolved. Because it isn't going to stop. >:\

So yeah, I'll just sit here and twiddle my thumbs until it passes. And try to avoid Facebook. That place is a jungle, lol.
