dragonimpTranscripts from Dominican finally came yesterday. Postmark? 4/25. Postmark on Las Positas' transcripts? 4/11. I sent the Las Positas letter after I sent the Dominican one. Wank.
After several hours and half a box of Pocky I'm done with the application, and it is on its way to SJSU via overnight mail. Polished the rust off my BS skills and made my way through the personal statement. Managed the Technology Literacy form without rolling my eyes too much (maybe). Although the part where they ask for names and phone numbers of supervisors with whom you have worked who can verify your technology literacy gave me pause. Dominican Library - my supervisors don't work there anymore. Whitestone Books - closed. PeopleSoft - closed. Uhm... you wanna talk to my mom, then? The friends on my e-mail list? Oy. I still need to fill out the FAFSA, but the online application I was liked to is for the 2004-2005 school year. Um, wha? That's over and done with. Update your friggin' site.
Hopefully I will hear back before too long, so that I can plan my work situation.
Oh yeah, the subject heading? That's what the stamp across the envelopes from Dominican said. Which means someone there ordered a rubber stamp that said "Unofficial is seal is broken". Wank.
