I got blood drawn today by an outside lab for the first time in - well, ever - and the tech got it in one try. She made Kaiser's techs look pretty incompetent XD. I have veins! Really! And they have blood in them!
Gad I HAAAAATE when they can't find the damn thing. Once I swear this girl was just digging around in there forever. AND THEN she forgot to take off the rubber thingy when she withdrew the needle so I had this total blood geyser going on. D:
Sheesh, you gotta wonder if it was her first day on the job -_-;. The part I really hate is when they start pulling the needle out partway and sticking it back in at a different angle, because OW. This tech had enough sense to go for the VISIBLE vein, a concept Kaiser seems to have a problem with.
