Irony... I hate irony.

There are two different purples I need for this costume. For the first one I use plum, which came out not as blue as I would like, but hey, I was going to deal. Then I use lavender, and this comes out wayyyy darker than I wanted. And it's also much closer to the color I wanted for the first purple. This is called irony. I think I'll over dye the plum with the lavender and see what I get, and then... I dunno, use the lavender at 1/3 strength or something. That was really the best color I could find at Dharma.

Also, why do basic, ordinary pumps not exist anymore? Why do they all have to have weird heels, too-tall heels, strappy uppers, square toes or toes that can put an eye out, funky colors and details.... sigh. I found some that are at least not hideous, even if they're not ideal.

I have no idea. When it comes to fashion and my feet, fashion takes a back seat to my actually being able to function.
