Your family must be having a really hard time. Well, Mom's taking it much harder than I am as I was never all that close to my Dad. I was the one who put up our little Christmas tree and the few decorations we have as Mom just wasn't feeling Christmas this year. :(
Why do things like this happen in December? A death is never easy no matter when it happens but I think you feel a death in December more intensely because everybody around you is all happy and cheerful and excited and whatever and they expect you to feel the same way when it's just not that easy or, for some, even possible. :/
