Pens breed!
Feb. 28th, 2008 07:37 pmI lent my quill pens to my mom when she was taking an art class a few years ago. I just got them back the other day (I've been using multi-liners to ink, so I haven't missed them), and they seem to have multiplied. At least, I don't remember having four stems. Mom swears she didn't steal them from a classmate. She can be absent-minded, but not that absent minded.
Anyway, I wanted them back because I'd found a sketch of Silver in a sketchbook I'd forgotten about and wanted to ink it. Multi-liners are great, but they can't beat old-fashioned quill pens when it comes to varying line weights. The picture turned out rather nice, actually, considering that I haven't used these pens in years. Although I still think that hair will be the death of me.
I'm thinking of printing this out and coloring it with markers.
