Lammas

Oh, hey, it's Lammas. These things sneak up on me....
It's a good time to remember and be thankful for where our food comes from. Most of us don't harvest it ourselves, but someone does. Not just our food, but our clothes, furniture, everything we own had to be made. None of us are living in isolation. (There's a touch of the Divine in all of that as well. It's too easy to forget that.)

I'm working a good chunk of the day, but I might bake some bread tonight.

Amazing how the Wheel seems to move faster these days. I hated missing Lamas at a friend's house but I've got so much pre-AWA stuff to do I had to beg off....but I think I'll whip up some bread too and drink a toast to the First HArvest...Blessed Be! ::hugs::

Yeah, wasn't it just Midsummer? ^^;
I need to find some like-minded people in my area. I've been flying solo here... it would be nice to have the chance to have a full celebration.
